Meet the Photographer
Krisanne Johnson
I'm a documentary photographer based in New York. My work is rooted in observation and shaped by a long-standing focus on everyday moments and human connection. Weddings became a natural extension of that work — a way to photograph people as they are, within one of the most meaningful days of their lives.
I work in a way that’s collaborative and unobtrusive — stepping in when needed, and stepping back when it matters. The focus is on creating space for people to feel comfortable, so the day can unfold naturally and without pressure.
I’m based in New York, balancing editorial work with weddings throughout the year. I'm also lucky to work for the amazing Lina shteyn at Ira Lippke studios and with the team at Eloping is fun among others! the work here features it all!
